A mixed day of fortunes for Marcus and his amazingly quick new toy. Straight out the box in practice he set a flying lap of 93 secs, seriously fast. Sadly on his first timed run the drive chain snapped to end his day in disappointment sitting on the start/finish line. We all felt for him. The good news is we know when he returns next year he will be on for a top ten finish, if not top five, IF he has the ‘balls’ to leave everything on the track.

Hi guys as you can see the site has had a visual makeover, we are still trying to improve things further so be patient.

The boys managed to get their cars into the supercar car park, though as you can see they were properly trumped by an Enzo (a hyper car)! Even Stuart got his spanking brand new BMW 135i Coupe in after asking the marshall nicely and pointing out he was a first timer.

From 9am to 12noon. Coffees and bacon sandwiches at the Mulberry, 40 – 50 super hot, sexy, fast, furious and fabulous supercars displayed outside the pub (on A283 south of Chiddingfold). Guest parking restricted to Ramster Garden car park

Fresh in from the workshop is a shot of SPR with her roundels and rear wheel arch spats (not the best pic in the world but you get the idea).

It means the car will be ready for Saturday – the excitement builds.

The seats and harnesses are in, plus fire extinguisher, plus we have our timing strut. Here are a few more spy shots, but she is looking like a proper little racer now.

Here are a few shots of SPR all finished. Typical it rains on the day she leaves Back On Track (where she has been prepared) on her cut race slicks for her first journey!

Footage from my first laps of Goodwood in the newly track-prepared SPR.  The brakes and the tyres have been sorted – the car now goes around corners and stops when you press the pedal in the middle!
